Know Before You Fight
Rules & Regulations
Safety and fair play are the foundation of every great battle. Read these rules carefully — all participants are expected to know and follow them without exception.
Registration & Check-In
- ALL participants must register at the front entrance before entering any field area.
- A signed waiver form is mandatory for every participant — no exceptions.
- Minors (under 18) must have a parent or guardian present to sign on their behalf.
- Minimum age to play is 14 years old. Players aged 14–17 require verified parental consent.
- Participants with heart conditions, respiratory issues, or outdoor allergies should consult a doctor before playing.
- Group bookings must check in as a unit — individual late arrivals may forfeit their slot.
Safety Rules
Do
- Wear your full-face mask AT ALL TIMES while on or near any active field.
- Keep your barrel sock on your marker whenever you are outside the field.
- Attend the safety and rules briefing conducted by the referee before every session.
- Call 'Hit!' loudly and raise your hand immediately when you are eliminated.
- Walk — never run — in designated safe zones.
- Report any equipment malfunction to a marshal immediately.
Don't
- Never remove your mask on the field, even if it fogs up — call for a time-out instead.
- Never dry-fire your marker in the rest or staging area.
- Never aim at faces, heads, or unprotected skin at point-blank range.
- Never bring your own air fills — use only designated fill stations.
- Never handle another player's marker without permission from the marshal.
General Game Rules
- Paintball rules are strictly enforced. Referees' decisions are final with no arguments.
- A player is out when a paintball breaks on them, leaving a visible paint mark larger than a 50 sen coin.
- Paintballs that bounce off without breaking, or that mark bunkers and barriers, do NOT count as a hit.
- Players eliminated must immediately exit the field via the designated exit route.
- Wiping off paint marks or dishonestly calling yourself 'not hit' is grounds for immediate disqualification.
- Eliminated players may not communicate with active players — no hand signals, verbal cues, or gestures.
- Shooting is prohibited in safe zones, staging areas, and the equipment room.
- Game boundaries are clearly marked. Stepping out of bounds results in elimination.
- Overshoot (firing more than 3 shots at a surrendered player) is a serious violation and may result in removal.
Equipment Rules
- All markers are chronographed before play. The maximum allowed velocity is 280 fps.
- SS 7Zero operates an armory system. All markers must be checked in when not in active play.
- Rental gear must be returned in the same condition it was issued. Damage beyond normal wear will be charged.
- Bringing your own marker is permitted — it must pass the chrono check and barrel sock rule.
- SS 7Zero does not perform compressed air fills for players not playing at our facility.
- Use only field-grade paintballs. Frozen, polished, or reused paintballs are strictly banned.
- Damaged or malfunctioning equipment should be reported immediately — do not attempt self-repair.
Code of Conduct
- Treat all players, marshals, and staff with respect at all times.
- Foul language, aggressive behaviour, or intimidation will result in immediate removal without refund.
- Spirit of the game matters — play fair, accept hits, and congratulate opponents.
- Any form of discrimination based on race, religion, gender, or age is strictly prohibited.
- Alcohol and illegal substances are prohibited on all field premises.
- Players who are visibly intoxicated will not be permitted on the field.
- Disputes must be resolved through a marshal — never take matters into your own hands.
Surrender Rule & Point-Blank
- If you are within 5 metres of an opponent and have a clear shot, offer them the surrender option first.
- Call 'Surrender!' — if they accept, they are eliminated. If they refuse or react, you may shoot.
- Point-blank shots must be aimed at the body (chest or back), never at the head or face.
- Overshooting a surrendered or eliminated player is a serious violation.
- Marshals may award eliminations if a surrender situation is mishandled dangerously.
Violation of any rule will be penalized — including immediate removal from the field without refund.
Our Commitment
“Safety is our highest priority. All players are required to follow arena rules and marshal instructions at all times.”
SS 7Zero reserves the right to update these rules at any time. The most current version applies to all sessions. Questions? Ask a marshal before your game begins.
